Born 26th of June 1983. Raised in Kongsberg. Main
instruments: saxophones and bass-clarinet. I have a
Bachelor degree from the Music Conservatory at Agder
University College. Additional education in
Culture-management from the Norwegian Academy of Music,
Arranging and Composing from Agder University College and
Copyright Law from The University in Oslo. Now based in
Oslo, Norway working as a freelance musician and pedagogue
together with part-time work in Oslo Jazzfestival and in
the recordstore Bare Jazz.
I have through the last years contributed with several
different band-projects, mostly modern jazz and improvised
music. I have traveled around Norwegian festivals and clubs
with different bands as Lars H. Kurverud xTet Project,
Splashgirl, Saeter Action Five etc. I have worked with
different constellations from solo till octet and nonet. I
have worked with musicians and bands like Trygve Seim,
Petter Wettre, Per Oddvar Johansen, Tonny Kluften, Michael
F. Duch, Mari Klingen, The Source and The Art Directors.
I have in several years been teaching in every levels of
saxophone-playing.
I have studied among other with Petter Wettre, Morten
Halle, Solveig Slettahjell, Bjørn Ole Rasch og Per Kolstad.
The summer 2005 I received a musicians prize for young
musicians from Kongsberg International Jazz festival.
